Say Hello to Francine
Francine is now a grandmother, and seeing her granddaughter graduate from New York University reminded her of her love for learning. These days you can find her mastering the game of cornhole or fine tuning her physical balance, new skills she can now add to the long list of things that make her smile.
Name: Francine P.
Lived In: The Bronx, New York
Resident Of: Monarch Bella Terra
Balance Seeker. Former Legal Secretary. Believer in the Slow Route.
Most Likely to Smile in Her Sleep
“Smiling is always a nice way to finish your day.”
Common advice says to never go to bed angry, but Francine P. has even better wisdom to share: always go to bed happy. Whether it’s watching her favorite shows before bed, filling her days with fun activities, or working to keep her mind and body strong, Francine always tries to fall asleep with a smile on her face.
Though she’s naturally impulsive, she knows the power of taking things slowly. A former employee of a ladies’ speciality shop, she took her time selecting a second career, and it stuck— she was a legal secretary for a prominent New Jersey attorney in Englewood, where she lived with her husband and family for over 30 years.
