Music has been Tom’s lifelong mistress, the beat of his heart and spark of his soul. With a penchant for playing well with others and entertaining audiences wherever he goes, ever since he picked up his first harmonica, he’s been in heaven.
“Music makes me feel lighter, like something else, another organism. It makes me feel bigger than me,” said Tom. “It’s been a lifelong companion, one that gets into your heart and soul.”
Recently, Tom’s heart has been transformed in a different way—he met the love of his life at Spring Meadow, and together they are learning to write their own kind of symphony.
“I’ve never been so taken with someone before. So much love, and so much respect,” said Tom. “The great work of this relationship, of this kind of love, is learning how to fathom and understand the beauty of this person in front of you. It’s challenging each other every day to become something new, create something new together.”
